Trackers, without the false alarms

Most "AirTag detector" apps light up for every Find My signal in range — which includes every passing iPhone relaying the network. Pulse reads the frames properly: a phone doing its mesh-relay duty is shown as quiet background, while a genuine separated tracker — an AirTag-class device away from its owner, broadcasting to be found — shows up amber, pulses, and sorts to the front. When Pulse says "1 tracker nearby," it means it.

Your room, mapped by signal

Devices land on range bands from arm's reach to faint based on smoothed signal strength, with rough distance when a device advertises its transmit power. The bearing is illustrative — Bluetooth can't sense direction, and Pulse says so on the face of the tool rather than pretending. Filter by kind (trackers, audio, wearables, Apple, other), and gear you've paired is cross-referenced as yours.

Ask a device to introduce itself

Select any blip for its dossier: signal history, first and last seen, advertised services, and raw frames for the curious. A voluntary Probe connects and reads only the public identity a device offers anyone — manufacturer, model, firmware, battery — with an eight-second timeout. Nothing invasive, nothing persistent.

On-demand, and only on-demand

The radio scans only while the sonar window is open, stops itself after four idle minutes to save power, and macOS asks for Bluetooth permission the first time you press Scan — never before.
